Be kind to every kind.
The word “kind” has its origins in the Proto-Germanic word for “family” and stands in a broader interpretation for “with the feeling of relatives for each other”.
As human beings, aren’t we all relatives in one big family altogether?
Don’t we all have the same longings for physical and psychological safety, for love as well as for trust and respect?
Doesn’t it feel great to treat another human being with kindness, being equally treated kindly?
Magic happens ones we stop categorizing humans into different kinds of persons and just see every person as a member of humankind. Let’s be humane, let’s be kind – to every kind.
Since “hurt people hurt people”, let’s be especially kind to the unkind -they need it the most.
We are a product of our experiences. Unfortunately, negative experiences leave deeper traces in us as compared to positive ones. Rather often than not, an unkind behavior is not an intentional action, rather a subconscious reaction. It is an automated mechanism protecting us from potentially being hurt again when negative experiences are triggered. Kindness is the antidote to such behavior.
Be kind to people in general. Be kind to unkind people in particular.
